What's included

The exclusions come before the number.

We price a project after we have measured it, because a figure written before anyone has seen your house is a guess. What we will tell you now is the part most quotes stay silent about — where the surprises live.

A quote from us names the price and, separately, the things it does not cover:

  • Rot or structural repair found once the old unit is out
  • Interior trim and paint beyond the original opening
  • Permits, where the opening is being enlarged
  • Disposal beyond the units we remove

Exclusions above are the categories we itemise. Your written quote lists the specific ones that apply to your house.

What we fit

Built for Edmonton winters.

Windows

Casement, picture, awning, tilt & turn and bay & bow. Double or triple pane, argon-filled — we recommend triple for what February does here.

Window options

Doors

Entry, patio and garden. Fibreglass and steel, with hardware chosen to still work at minus thirty.

Door options

Service

Failed seals, fogged glass, dropped hardware. Including on units we did not install ourselves.

What we repair

Why triple-pane here

Minus thirty-five, for weeks at a time.

Edmonton has among the coldest winters of any major Canadian city. That is not a selling line, it is a load case — it runs continuously against the sealed unit, the frame and the hardware.

How it goes

Four visits, no surprises.

  1. 01

    Measure

We come out, measure every opening, and look at what is actually behind the trim. No obligation, and no charge.

  2. 02

    Quote

An itemised price with the exclusions written down, not implied. You get it in writing before anyone asks you to decide.

  3. 03

    Install

Our own crew, one to three days for most homes. One opening at a time, and your house is closed up every night.

  4. 04

    Stand behind it

Workmanship warranty on our labour, manufacturer warranty on the product. Both in writing, both explained before you sign.

Paying for it

The route most contractors do not mention.

Edmonton homeowners have access to a municipal financing programme that pays a contractor nothing for pointing at it. We would rather you knew about it.

Clean Energy Improvement Program

City of Edmonton financing repaid through your property tax bill, and it transfers to the next owner if you sell. $3,000 to $50,000, fixed 6.00%, up to 20 years. Edmonton requires triple-pane or better glazing to qualify, which is the specification we recommend here regardless.

Status as at 31 July 2026: nearing capacity — new pre-qualifications are waitlisted, first come first served. We will tell you where the queue stands before you count on it.

Dealer financing

We are arranging point-of-sale monthly payments. It is not in place yet, so we will not pretend otherwise — until it is, CEIP is the route we can point you at.
